Three days ago Forbes published their list of the 50 Most Valuable Sports Franchises. The top spot went to English Premiere League club, Manchester United. United was estimated as being worth $2.23 billion dollars. 19% more than Real Madrid, who came in second.
Though the top two spots were held by soccer clubs, each of the 32 NFL teams made an appearance on the list. The Dallas Cowboys were the highest placing franchise, valued at $1.85 billion. The New York Yankees were the top MLB franchise, tying the Cowboys for third.
The Seattle Seahawks came in 25th.

In March, the Seahawks inked Matt Flynn, who was one of the most sought after free agent quarterbacks in 2012. Flynn’s deal is worth $26 million over three years.
