Major League baseball is fastly approaching and the anticipation of how things will turn out in the coming season is on the minds of every true fan. This would be a good time to take a look at the possible outcomes of the divisional final standings as well as how the playoffs could map out.
If you look at how Vegas has each team projected to win the World Series you’ll see that the California teams are all at the top, and with solid justification. The Giants are defending champs, the Angels added the best power hitter for the second year in a row and the Dodgers stacked up with talent. You can check out the MLB Futures Odds at Top Bet and see that they have the Dodgers and Angels as the favorites. The Giants are right behind them.
These are my 2013 MLB Predictions.

I think the 2013 season will prove to be a season of the hitter. With teams such as the Dodgers and Angels loading up their lineup’s, pitchers are going to face bigger challenges. I see things going the way of the long ball this coming season and batting averages as a whole on the rise across both leagues. This is not to say that our hurling hero’s wont have their moments in the sun as well, but with all the big lumber being stacked on a team to team basis I think we will find that pitchers struggle a little more than last year. I have to put my neck out and go on record now that the Angels are going to be too much to deal with. With the recent acquisition of All-Star Josh Hamilton the team is loaded like none other. I am predicting a World Series Championship for the Angels franchise.
