Mariners vs Indians (126)

Game 1 of the doubleheader with the Cleveland Indians will see Blake Beavan take on Justin Masterson. The Mariners lineup will be full of youngsters again. Well, the entire team is pretty much composed of guys under 26. Wells, Seager, Robinson, Ackley and Carp are all in the lineup for the first game. Blake Beavan (22) has started 8 games and actually does much better away from Safeco. On the road Beavan is 1-1 with a 2.57 era in his 3 starts. In day games he’s sporting a nice 2.63 era, so based on the tiny amount of stats that’s you can’t really judge a future performance on, I’m going to do it anyway and say Beavan will have an outstanding game today. Also, after yesterdays showing, Brendan Ryan is not in the lineup.
