2013 MLB Draft Order

2013 mlb draft order

The Houston Astros earned the right to pick first in the 2013 MLB Draft thanks to their horrible showing last year. Their selection in this draft won’t really help change their fortunes and it can be expected to see them selecting first for a few years down the road.

The Mariners have the 12th pick and unlike the NFL, it can’t really be accurately projected whom they will select. Even if addressing need were to be the top priority – Jack Zduriencik has shown to ignore what everyone else thinks. Everyone thought the Mariners were targeting Anthony Rendon and while he was available, Jack Z selected Danny Hultzen – who now helps form the “big three” and is rated as a top pitching prospect by every baseball site.
